Nerd Alert: Motor City Comic Con 2017 Kicks Off Friday in Novi
lifeinmichigan.com I'm not ashamed to tell you that I have been looking forward to this all year. It's Michigan's largest pop-culture event. Full of everything up my alley. Motor City Comic Con 2017 is this weekend and I can hardly stand it! This year's Motor City Comic Con takes place at the Suburban Collection Showplace on Grand River in Novi and everything starts Friday (5/19) at 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. running through Sunday (5/21) 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The mega fun weekend features over 300 creators, writers, illustrators, and actors who will be available to take pictures and pretty much be weirded out by my ultra geek-tastic questions. Saturday there will be a huge cosplay contest and party at the end of the night, then Sunday is more kid friendly. Along with a few stars from Weird Science, Guardians of the Galaxy, Arrow, Freaks and Geeks, and American Pie , there will be a full-length feature film screening. ...
