BJ's Bar via Facebook I just can’t get enough of these ‘Missed Connections’ ads on Craigslist Flint. Follow the intrigue and love along with me. Craigslist is so freaking amazing. You can do so many things at once. Sell your couch, buy knock-off Uggs, and find love. Take a look at one  Criagslist user  who was enjoying a night at the world famous BJ’s Bar of Burton, affectionately known for having “dancing sandwiches”, now will be known for possibly love: Cute little waitress at BJ’s Bar. Not sure if will ever see this, but we made eye contact a few times. I hang out and shoot pool once a while. There where only a few people in there tonight….. One can only hope that the “cute little waitress” will be able to figure out who her pool dabbling, knight in shining armor is.

I mean, I have  extensively researched this subject .  But it seems that recently, I am not the only one who feels this way. There has been numerous posts online. You have to check out Craigslist these days — it’s gone to the dogs! Not sure if you are into trolling Craigslist like me, but have you seen these real ads on Craigslist of dog owners essentially pimping out their pooches?  They are a riot! One  Craigslist user  touts the fact that her dog will make a wonderful mother: Looking to mate my female shizu. With either the same or Pomeranian. If conceives, pick of the litter. She is very sweet and would make a loving mother. She is black and white. Trying to stay in the same color. Another  Craigslist user  is just looking for a boyfriend for her bitch and there are specifications: I’m looking for a boyfriend for my little Maltese, she is a beautiful purebred, AKC, tea cup size dog. I’m looking for a dog that weights no more than 5.5 pounds (My dog is very small, so a bigger dog is not a good idea) Also AKC papers and tear stain free, please. I had no idea there was quite the tiki resort in Holly back in the day. I’m willing to bet you didn’t either. Lets get out our grass skirts and coconut bras to relive the Hawaiian Gardens Tiki Resort in Holly. According to  Critiki , the Hawaiian Gardens Tiki Resort was located on Grange Hall road on the shores of Oahu Lake in Holly and was the place to be. Built in the late 50s, early 60s, this place was decorated with imagery from Hawaii and Polynesian culture: Aside from hotel rooms, the complex had several restaurants and lounges. The Huki Lau Restaurant “tried to capture the true effect of Polynesia,” per the restaurant’s menu. The Polynesian Longhouse had full table service and advertised “individually cooked” meals. The Kahili Room served buffet-style food inside the geodesic dome and was available for private rentals. Want to get completely creeped out? Go to Metamora, apparently. I cannot believe, as a fan of horror movies, that I have not heard of this urban legend that takes place just a few miles from Lapeer. Let’s dive into the story of ‘Crying Baby Bridge’ on Wilder road in Metamora. According to  intotheafterlifeparanormal.com , Metamora is a pretty freaky place with various alleged hunted places. The one we are focusing on is; ‘Crying Baby Bridge’. Here’s what they have to say about the urban legend: It is said that a woman here had her car stall over the bridge. She got out to investigate and when she got back in her car, her child was gone. The child was found drowned in the river below the bridge.   It is said that you can hear a child cry in this spot. Yes, true love can be found at a Mexican restaurant in Grand Blanc. Maybe. For real, the ‘Missed Connections’ on Craigslist Flint has been on fire lately, with love. This tale comes from a  Craigslist Flint  gentleman user who is looking for his lady of Margaritas who was last spotted at El Potrero Mexican Restaurant on Fenton Road: Saturday my friends and I were at El Potrero eating after work. As we were walking away I left 1/3 of my beer unfinished. Friends were giving me flak for not finishing. You told me you’d of finished it. I’d like to buy you a beer of Margarita or whatever you like. Ay papi! I truly hope this guy find his Margarita Mamacita. Maybe they can share a basket of free chips and salsa while they enjoy beans and rice in many different forms.

Craigslist, the website that just keeps giving. Yes, I cannot get enough of combing Cragslist Flint for some real interesting ads.  Anyone can post just about anything on Criagslist and boy does it show. I came across this ad from a  Cragslist user  that raised a few eyebrows: Ladies. Need a man on a temporary basis? Home repairs, auto diagnosis, purchase management, daily showpiece or personal reasons. Um, what? I was with this guy until he threw down ‘daily showpiece or personal reasons’. I have no idea what ‘purchase management’ means, but I guess this guy could help with managing my funds. Possibly stop me from going to Starbucks and throwing down about $6 for a coffee by slapping it out of my hands, but the other stuff? I don’t know. That’s pretty bold.
